After breakfast, you set out for Sonmarg, the “Meadow of Gold,” which marks another beautiful chapter of your Sonmarg tour. The road takes you through Kangan, Mammar, and Gagangir, each offering views of flowing rivers and tall pine trees.

When you reach Sonmarg, you can take a short walk or a horseback ride to the Thajiwas Glacier, where the landscape turns dramatic with snow-filled sections and huge mountains around you. This morning, you leave Srinagar and drive towards Pahalgam, a place well-known for peaceful valleys and lush green stretches. This day adds a pleasant touch to your Pahalgam tour. The route passes Pampore, known for its saffron fields, and Avantipura, where ancient temple ruins stand quietly. Soon, the view becomes even more scenic as the road begins to run alongside the Lidder River.

After checking into your hotel, you have the rest of the day free to walk around the local market, enjoy the cool weather, or simply relax with your partner. As evening settles in, you enjoy dinner and spend a restful night in the peaceful town of Pahalgam.

After breakfast, you check out from Pahalgam and drive back to Srinagar. Once you reach, you check in to your beautiful houseboat, an experience that stays with every traveler, especially couples. This is the perfect time to enjoy a soothing Shikara ride on Dal Lake, where the mountains reflect on the water and the floating gardens make the view even more romantic.

Later in the day, you can stroll around the lakeside markets known for handicrafts and souvenirs. Dinner awaits you on the houseboat, followed by a peaceful overnight stay on the calm waters of Srinagar.

Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment
A booking is confirmed only after an advance payment is made. Full payment must be completed before the start of the tour. In case of non-payment, the company reserves the right to release bookings without prior notice.

2. ID Proof
All travellers must carry a valid government ID such as Aadhaar, Passport, PAN Card or Driving Licence. The same ID used during booking must be presented at check-in.

3. Transport and Sightseeing
Local transport in Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg is operated by union vehicles. Outside vehicles are not allowed for local sightseeing. Any additional sightseeing, pony rides, ATV rides, rafting, gondola tickets or activities must be paid for directly by travellers. Vehicle AC may not operate in hilly regions as per local guidelines.

4. Hotel Policies
Standard hotel check-in and check-out timings apply. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and extra charges. Room heaters and extra bedding may be chargeable during winter.

5. Weather and Road Conditions
The company is not responsible for delays or changes caused by weather conditions, roadblocks, landslides, strikes or any situation beyond its control. In cases of heavy snowfall, chain vehicles may be required at an additional cost.

6. Changes and Cancellations
Any modification or date change is subject to availability and applicable charges. Cancellation charges will apply as per hotel and company policy. Refunds may take 7 to 10 working days to process.

7. Health and Safety
Travellers must follow instructions from drivers, hotel staff and local authorities. The company will not be responsible for loss of personal belongings, injuries or accidents during the tour.

8. Houseboats and Shikara Rides
Shikara rides operate only between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Houseboats are stationary and do not move. Heating arrangements in houseboats may involve additional charges.

9. Mobile Network
Only postpaid SIM cards work in Kashmir. Prepaid SIM cards issued outside Jammu & Kashmir do not work.

10. Costing and Package Price
The costing of this itinerary is subject to change due to reasons such as sudden changes in hotel prices, transport rates, fuel price revisions, government taxes, availability issues, peak-season surcharges or any increase imposed by service providers.

11. General Conditions
The company acts as a travel facilitator and is not responsible for operational decisions made by hotels, transport unions or local authorities. Misconduct by travellers may lead to denial of services. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the company’s home city.
