Day 1 / ARRIVAL AT COCHIN AND JOURNEY TO MUNNAR

You will arrive at Cochin, where our friendly tour representative will meet you at the Cochin Railway Station and help you with the onward journey. From here, you’ll head out towards Munnar, one of the most beautiful hill stations in Kerala, famous for its endless stretches of tea plantations, spice gardens, and lush greenery.

On the way, you’ll stop at Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, where the fresh spray of water and the surrounding forest will make you feel close to nature. Once you reach Munnar, you’ll check in to your hotel and spend some leisure time. You can either relax or explore Munnar Town and nearby places at your own pace. Day 2 / EXPLORING THE BEAUTY OF MUNNAR

After breakfast, you will head out for a full day of sightseeing under the beautiful skies of Munnar. First, visit Mattupetty Dam, a scenic spot perfect for soaking in views of the hills and lush landscapes. Next, you’ll stop at Kundala Lake, a natural lake surrounded by forests and rolling hills, where you can enjoy boating and panoramic views of the Western Ghats in Kerala. Later, you’ll visit Eco Point and the tea gardens nearby, taking in the aroma and sight of fresh tea leaves being harvested. 

Afterward, you will explore Eravikulam National Park, where the rare Nilgiri Tahr is protected. The park’s scenic beauty and wildlife will leave you in awe. You’ll return to the hotel in the evening for a restful overnight stay as part of our special Munnar sightseeing package.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you’ll check out from the hotel and drive towards Thekkady, a must-visit wildlife and spice destination in Kerala. The journey takes you through the beautiful hills and valleys of the Western Ghats, giving you glimpses of the state’s natural richness.

On arrival, you’ll check in at your hotel and later have the option to enjoy activities such as a Kathakali show, a visit to a spice plantation, an elephant ride, or a relaxing Ayurvedic massage. The highlight of the day is the boat ride on Periyar Lake, which passes through the Periyar Tiger Reserve. As you cruise along the lake, you may spot wild animals like elephants, bison, and deer roaming freely along the shores. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to a traditional houseboat, where you’ll begin an unforgettable cruise through serene backwaters. As the boat glides past fields of paddy and small villages along the banks, you’ll get a chance to witness rural life in Kerala. 

Keep your eyes open for various species of birds and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the calm waters. The peaceful environment is perfect for relaxation and photography. After a refreshing breakfast, you’ll start your journey towards Varkala, a unique seaside town famous for its cliffs right next to the Arabian Sea. Your first stop will be Jatayu Earth's Center, a large eco-tourism park that features the world’s largest bird sculpture, honoring the mythical bird Jatayu from the Ramayana. The park offers adventure activities and peaceful surroundings, making it a perfect spot for families.
